Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes. Hyderabad Foundation USA is a 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN: 81-0896655). All donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. You will receive a donation receipt via email.

How much of my donation reaches programs?

Almost every dollar donated. Our board of directors serves without compensation, and we have no paid staff. A small portion covers unavoidable administrative costs (banking fees, filing fees, etc.).

Can I donate to a specific cause?

Yes. In the Zeffy form, you can designate your donation to Healthcare, Education, Housing, Water Provision, Food Provision, or Disaster Relief. Undesignated gifts go where the need is greatest.

Do you accept recurring donations?

Yes. Zeffy supports monthly recurring donations. You can set up a recurring gift in the donation form above.

How do I know my money is being used effectively?

We publish photos, videos, and reports from every project. Our IRS Form 990 is publicly available on the Publications page. We are happy to answer specific questions about any program.
